1/29/2024 0 Comments Dredge is broken paladins1: It counts deployables when refunding ammo. "But he has to HIT with it, and it's a stationary object that can be dodged once it hits the ground!" Two problems with that. And it has no cooldown! "Well, it's a good thing it's limited by ammo!" Well, it'd be a shame if there was a card that gives him ammo when he hits with it, right? And it's a good thing that such a card wouldn't be able to give him more ammo than he uses to fire the ability to begin with, right? It's the ability to put 3 landmines on the objective, then have the enemy tanks either get off or die. 3x 950 damage with a detonation time? This is effectively a wall that the enemy can't get near, lest they die. Let's look a little closer at this:īroadside is so insane. The enemy will have 0 chance to capture the objective without being blown to smithereens. Seriously, play Dredge on Marauder's Port, stand on the upper deck and pick Scuttle. This comes from both his ability to spam Broadside and Scuttle from across the map to turn the point into a minefield. No champion can hold the point as Dredge can. So why is Dredge unfair for the AVERAGE player? Let's see: Expecting the standard player to reach those same expectations is unrealistic most of our teammates are players who autolock Viktor and ren headfirst into 1v5s. Those pros are well-coordinated and train every day. "REEEEEEE PROS SAY HE'S BALANCED SO HE'S BALANCED YOU'RE JUST MAD REEEEEE" So, maybe I'll start a mini-series: Why X: is Broken: For Dummies You'd think that, right? Yet I've run into two separate people who claim that STRIX is balanced and I'm just mad that I lose to them. "Why the hell are you posting this? We all know Dredge is obnoxious!"
